Light Drawing

Workshops are on hold for the time being. They will resume when restrictions on indoor gatherings have been lifted.

Scientifically creative and creatively scientific!

Science and art are often seen as opposites but they have much in common. The nature and properties of light have intrigued scientists and artists alike. Scientific discovery is a creative process and art has developed though incorporating technologies such as new materials, methods of creating an image through to high tech interactive installations. Photography is one of the best examples of where science and art merge. The pioneers of photography were scientists but artists have shown its use beyond the cataloguing of the world around us.
